  8. 4 tbsp Ghee
  9. as required Lukewarm water
  10. For Panchmel Dal
  11. 1/2 cup Mix Dal
  12. 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  13. 1/2 tsp Salt (as per taste)
  14. For tempering
  15. 3 tbsp Ghee
  16. 3 Tomatoes
  17. 2 Green chillies
  18. 1 inch "piece of Ginger
  19. 1 tsp Coriander powder
  20. 1/2 tsp Red chilli powder
  21. 1/4 tsp asafoetida
  22. 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  23. 1/2 tsp Garam Masala
  24. 1/2 tsp Kastoori methi
  25. 2 tbsp Lemon juice
  26. as required Chopped Coriander to garnish

  28. 7-8 green chillies (cut into long pieces)
  29. 2 tbsp Mustard oil
  30. 1/4 tsp Asafoetida
  31. 1 Tsp Fennel
  32. 1 tsp Curd
  33. 1/4 tsp Turmeric

  35. 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder

  1. For Bati
    In a mixing bowl add Flour, Besan, Salt, Carom and Ghee
  2. In another bowl add Alkaline Salt and a Tsp of water.
  3. Then mix in flour mixture.
    Knead the dough with water as needed.
  4. Dough divided into 7 to 8 portion and make a balls. Now preheat the oven at 200 ° C for 10 minutes.
  5. Then bake the bati for 20 to 25 minutes.
    Now press the bati lightly and dip it in ghee and keep it for 5 to 7 minutes.
  6. For Panchmel Dal
    1/2 cup all pulses in equal quantity (moong dhuli dal, urad dal, arhar dal, chana dal and masoor dhuli dal) Soak the lentils for one hour.
  7. Now add 3 cups of water, salt and turmeric in the cooker and boil it. Give one whistle on high heat then give 2 whistles on low heat.
  8. Make tomato, green chilli and ginger paste.
  9. Put ghee in the vessel and heat it. Now add cumin,when it cracked.
  10. Then add tomato paste and fry. When the spices start leaving the oil, add salt, red chili powder, coriander powder, Kastoori methi and mix asafoetida in one spoon of water.When masala leave the ghee.
  11. Add lentils and boil for 2 to 4 minutes. Turn off the gas, then add Garam masala, Lemon juice and Green coriander and mix.

    Heat the oil. add fennel and asafoetida.
